Red Bull driver and three-time world champion Max Verstappen’s girlfriend, Kelly Piquet was recently spotted on the beach with her daughter, Penelope Kvyat. The Brazilian model and influencer is the daughter of former three-time world champion Nelson Piquet Sr. and shares her four-year-old daughter Penelope with former F1 driver Daniil Kvyat.
She has been in a relationship with the Dutch driver since late 2020 and the duo live together in the latter’s home in Monaco. During the F1 summer break, the 34-year-old was seen enjoying her summer break with her friends and posted a picture on her Instagram Stories with her daughter, Penelope.

Max Verstappen was not a part of this picture from the story but the 26-year-old is with his girlfriend and her daughter, as evidenced by a picture of the duo shared on social media.

The three-time world champion has been keeping a low profile during the summer break and is enjoying his time off from the track in a much-needed break. After an intense first half of the season, he will look to come back fresh as he continues his tilt at a fourth championship victory.
Former F1 world champion makes a bold prediction about Max Verstappen’s title bid
Former F1 world champion Damon Hill stated that it would be a “tall order” for the rest of the grid to stop Max Verstappen from winning his fourth successive driver’s title despite the challengers closing the gap to Red Bull in recent races.
Speaking on the F1 Nation podcast, the 1996 world champion said of the Red Bull driver (via Racingnews365):
“My gut reaction is that it is going to be a tall order to stop Max Verstappen in a Red Bull. I know everyone is catching, but he has shown that he is prepared to fight every inch of the track to keep those victories and he is able to pull results out of the hat.”He’s been quite critical of the team and wants to see more action because he’s starting to have to work a lot harder than he’s been used to in the last couple of years.”
Hill added:
“He will really have to fight for this championship, so whether they can come up with a little bit more pace for him on the development of the car, I am sure they can, but he is still going to be chased all the way through to the end.”
Despite not winning a race since the Spanish GP in late June, Verstappen remains at the helm of the driver’s championship in the 2024 season with 277 points after 14 races and three Sprints.
He leads his closest challenger, McLaren’s Lando Norris, by 78 points with 10 races and three Sprints remaining in the second half of the season. Although the RB20 might not be the outright fastest car on the grid currently, Verstappen has been able to extract the maximum of the car in recent races.
