Prince Harry and Meghan Markle melted hearts during Day 1 of their quasi-royal tour in Colombia as the couple packed on the PDA throughout their engagements and according to a body language expert, there is a key message they wanted to communicate.
The Duke and Duchess of Sus𝑠e𝑥 visited the Centro Nacional de las Artes Delia Zapata for their second outing and appeared to be unable to keep away from each other.
Harry and Meghan were caught in a sweet moment when Meghan appeared to rest herself on her husband’s chest, as the duke planted a kiss on the top of her head.
Another adorable moment included Meghan placing her hand on her husband’s knee as she affectionately laughed with him during a sit-down chat.
Now according to body language expert, Judi James, the Sus𝑠e𝑥 couple appeared to want to share with the world their love for each other.
She told Express.co.uk: “Harry and Meghan do seem to have another narrative they want to share with the world on this trip which is their love for each other.
“Their tactile displays have been a signature look in the past but here they do seem to want to nail the message in a very emphatic and definitive way.”
Ms James further explained their body language to each other: “Meghan is using a lot of non-verbal ‘strokes’ to prove to Harry that, although she seems to be the lead, he has her attention, admiration and even adoration.
“She face-gazes, she places a hand on his knee, she uses flirtatious eye-connects and she looks at him as she laughs as though encouraging him to do the same.”
The expert also revealed that the couple have their own “love swoon ritual” as the duke appears “on message” with his wife’s “romantic signalling”.
She said: “They hold hands but they also produce ‘moments’ like her ‘Love swoon’ ritual, where she leant her head back on his shoulder with her hands folded over her heart and a dreamy look on her face.
“Meghan seems to be the main instigator for much of this romantic signalling but Harry appears on-message with it, placing a hand over her hand on his knee in an endorsement gesture and bending to kiss her on the head when she leans it onto his shoulder.”
