Five Nights At Freddy’s 2 – FIRST TRAILER (2025) Universal Pictures

The much awaited sequel to the Five Nights at Freddy’s film has already been set up with a significant twist that connects back to the original FNAF mythology. Five Nights at Freddy’s shattered box office records and made an incredible $297.2 million at the box office, all thanks to the video game franchise of the same name that Scott Cawthon produced. Despite the negative reviews the film received for its content and tone, it is evident that series devotees went to the cinemas. The FNAF movie’s success was increased even more after it was made available for streaming. Naturally, a sequel was given the go-ahead shortly after.

Like Cawthon’s original game, Five Nights at Freddy’s unfolds at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza, a once-successful pizzeria populated by animatronics. Josh Hutcherson stars as Mike Schmidt, a down-on-his-luck security guard who takes a job at the abandoned pizzeria so that his odds of keeping custody of his sister, Abby (Piper Rubio), improve. It becomes clear that Fazbear’s, and its proprietor, William Afton (Matthew Lillard), are tied to the disappearance and murder of several children — as well as what happened to Mike’s brother Garret before FNAF. Ultimately, all of this sets up an exciting sequel premise.
