It’s no secret the 2024 Los Angeles Dodgers are going to mean business all year long. The front office has shown they’ll do anything in their power to better the team, and they are not done yet.
While the front office works on continuing to put together a dominant roster, the players are doing whatever they can to improve their play, too. The off-season is the perfect opportunity to work on your game, whatever that may be, and there is no exception with the best player in the game. Los Angeles Dodgers two-way superstar Shohei Ohtani has been working nonstop to do all he can to help L.A. reach where they want to go. How do we know that, you might ask?
Fresh off of signing his $700 million contact with the team, Shohei Ohtani appears to already be working out at Dodger Stadium!

Well, here’s Ohtani putting in work at Dodger Stadium. It appears the video was taken Friday morning.
It’s unclear what Ohtani is working on, but it looks like he’s doing some agility drills. Seen in the video is Ohtani’s translator, Ippei Mizuhara, and strength and conditioning coach for the Dodgers, Travis Smith.
Ohtani is the best player in the game for a reason. He puts in the work to maintain his body for an entire season, and you can tell he loves doing it. This isn’t the first time we’ve heard of Ohtani working at Dodger Stadium. He has seemed to live in the weight room at the stadium, as well as doing other workouts to improve his game and body for the upcoming season.
If you’re a Dodger fan, you love seeing this from your superstar player. Not only does he have the talent, but he has the work ethic to want to get better. We cannot wait to see Ohtani display his talent once the real games start. In the meantime, it’s great to see the behind-the-scenes work of the unicorn in baseball.
