Rowland’s post comes after Beyoncé shared a number of party pictures from her birthday festivities at a tropical location.
‘I’m so grateful for another year. Thank you for the loving birthday wishes,’ Beyonce wrote in the caption.
Rowland and Beyoncé began singing together at age 9, years before forming their legendary girl group Destiny’s Child.
Their band was, ultimately, formed in 1990, although they did not find commercial success until the release of their 1998 track No, No, No.
The group went on to record several hit tracks, including Lose My Breath, Survivor and Independent Woman, among others.
Destiny’s Child went on to separate in 2006 after the members expressed a desire to embark on their own careers.
The group was nominated for a total of 14 Grammy Awards over the length of their fifteen-year career.
The band ultimately took home the Grammy Awards for Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals and Best R&B Song in 2001.

Destiny’s Child has reunited on several occasions, including the Super Bowl XLVII halftime show.
The hitmakers later shared the stage during the 2018 Coachella Festival, at which Beyonce served as the headliner.
In May, Beyoncé’s mom, Tina Knowles, referred to Rowland as her third daughter.
While on the Today show, she recalled Beyoncé being ‘very shy’ growing up and getting ‘bullied a bit.’
Over the years, Beyoncé and Rowland have remained close friends and supported each other on their various professional endeavors.
‘Light attracts light,’ she said. ‘I am light. I am a beautiful, brown shining light. So, I don’t think anybody’s light dims anyone else’s. I think that when other people start to compare you, I think that that’s when it shows how dim they are of themselves. So I don’t take somebody else trying to dim my light anymore — from anybody else. I love Bey. I know that she’s a light. But I know that I’m a light too..’

In 2022, Rowland reflected on how they ‘both shine together’ and feeling they are practically ‘family’ at this point.
‘We’re there for each other’s children’s births,’ she said during an interview with Hot 97.
