After the popularity of Incredibles 2, it has now been confirmed that Incredibles 3, a Pixar film that many people want to see, will indeed happen. The 2018 sequel finally brings the Parr family back to the big screen after a 14-year hiatus from the animation studio. While opinions on whether the nearly fifteen-year wait was worthwhile vary, most moviegoers can agree that Incredibles 3 is one they want to see next.

It is understandable since The Incredibles is probably Pixar’s most tailor-made franchise by the nature of being based on serialized comic book heroes – characters who now power cinema’s biggest shared universes – they feel ripe for more adventures. Incredibles 2 certainly left the door open for more installments, and the franchise’s box office success clearly put Pixar in a position of wanting to do more.
