Prince Harry fans were not impressed with one key detail during the Duke’s latest appearance.

The Duke of Sus𝑠e𝑥 on Friday attended the One805Live! concert hosted by Kevin Costner in Carpinteria to help raise funds for the local community’s first responders.

Harry looked dapper in a casual dark blue jacket, a light blue shirt and dark blue jeans.

The prince also sported his now signature slip-on shoes, this time in a dark colour, however, some royal fans were not impressed with the fact that it looked like he was wearing no socks.

One user wrote on X: “‘Harry appeared in a suit but was not wearing socks or shoes for the occasion as he cracked a joke about how he – a former pilot – and Mr Courtney felt more at home behind a cockpit than on stage.’ How rude to make it about him while presenting the guy’s award in bare feet.”

Another one said: “Harry has really embraced the slip on, no sock shoe. Not a fan.”

A third one added: “Harry in bare feet honoring(sic) first responders & making it about himself is just like him.”

But others came to the Duke’s defence with one user writing: “not wearing sock is bizarre?”

A second one chimed: “Papa Sus𝑠e𝑥 debuted new shoes!”

Another one said: “He had shoes on. You can see them in the pictures. Just no socks.”

The Duke is regularly seen sporting slip-on shoes and no visible socks during his appearances, however, it could be because he opts for invisible, no-show socks usually worn with flat shoes, loafers and slip-on trainers.

During Friday’s speech on stage, Harry paid tribute to helicopter pilot Loren Courtney.

He said: “As you’ve probably heard already, 22 years [of] military service over 10,000 hours and rarely sees his family because he’s always here flying helicopters.”

He also compared the ease of helicopter piloting versus public speaking.

Among the celebrities performing were Pink, Richard Marx of ’80s fame, and Kevin Costner himself.

The Duke’s wife, Meghan Markle, reportedly did not attend due to illness.
