Prince Harry and Meghan Warned: Can They Bounce Back from Their ‘Flop Era’?

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were issued a dire warning as the couple allegedly struggle to turn around their “flop era” and boost their popularity, a royal commentator has claimed.

The Duke and Duchess of Sus𝑠e𝑥’s life outside the Royal Family saw them hit with several setbacks, including their axed Spotify deal and producing only one hit show with Netflix.

Harry and Meghan’s popularity still remains in the gutter – a result greatly influenced by their explosive claims against the royals following their royal departure.

The Sus𝑠e𝑥es have recently tried to alleviate some of the damage caused by carrying out solo engagements promoting causes that are close to their heart, while they’ve previously embarked on two pseudo-royal tours in Nigeria and Colombia.

But now a royal commentator claimed that the pair need a “success” to overturn their declining popularity.

The Sun’s royal editor Matt Wilkinson told the Kinsey Schofield Unfiltered programme: “They do need a success. They’ll sit down and point to Colombia and Nigeria as a success.

“They’ve still got Invictus to come next year. I can’t call it a flop era but they possibly do need a win.”

He added: “Harry will point to legal cases he’s launched against newspapers in the UK, he has had success in the courts.

“Once you put it like that and you think about it maybe they are in a flop era.”

It comes as YouGov’s latest royal rankings for the third quarter of 2024 placed Harry and Meghan at the bottom of the ladder.

The YouGov poll has listed members of the Royal Family in order of popularity, with the most liked member of the Firm listed at the top of the list and the least liked at the bottom.

Prince Harry’s popularity is at 27 percent, while Meghan’s sits at 23 percent, ranked 15th and 17th respectively.
