Prior to the scheduled filming of Euphoria, Zendaya talks about the show’s season 3 time leap. After several highly publicized delays, the Emmy-winning adolescent drama’s most recent episode premiered in early 2022. But it’s official that the HBO hit will start filming in early January, following rumors of incomplete scripts from series creator Sam Levinson and disagreements over the direction the show will go in the future. It has also been reported that important cast members from Euphoria season 3 will return and their characters will no longer be in high school.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly’s The Awardist podcast, to discuss her Oscar buzzy lead role in the Luca Guadagnino film Challengers, Zendaya talked about the time jump. The actor shared that she does not know what the upcoming season will look like. However, she did say that she was excited about the time jump and the opportunity to move away from high school drama.
