6G network will bring many outstanding benefits (Illustration photo: Getty Images)A Japanese corporation recently unveiled the world’s first high-speed 6G prototype device that can transmit data at a whopping 100 gigabits per second (Gbps), 20 times faster than current 5G technology, over distances of more than 300 feet (91.44 m).

The alliance announced the results of successful testing on April 11, with the companies revealing prototype devices that could achieve speeds of 100 Gbps indoors on the 100 Gigahertz (GHz) band and outdoors on the 300 GHz band.
