Mike Perry has ripped into his new boss after being told that he was ‘fired’ from BKFC following his loss in the boxing ring.
Perry was told by new BKFC owner Conor McGregor that he was being sacked from the promotion after he was stopped in six rounds by Jake Paul back in July. And while David Feldman, the company’s CEO, believes that he will return, McGregor continues to insist he is no longer signed.
And in new footage from the Down & Dirty documentary surrounding his new Dirty Boxing fight promotion, the former UFC star has gone into detail about the issue. He has already faced off with McGregor before, and the pair have angled for a fight with one another in the past.
Conor McGregor told Mike Perry he was ‘fired’ from BKFC after Jake Paul loss
On July 20 after his fight with Mike Tyson was cancelled, Jake Paul made the decision to push forward with a bout on that date. Mike Perry was the man who stepped up, putting his title as the King of Violence on the line in a crossover boxing match that sold out the Amalie Arena in Tampa.
Perry, who has tended to fight at 170lb in his career, was ultimately undersized in the bout by the 199lb career-cruiserweight Paul. He was dropped multiple times and ultimately stopped in the sixth round, much to the annoyance of Conor McGregor.
The Irishman was watching and took to social media to declare that his rival had been ‘fired’ from the promotion. “Hey Mike you’re released,” he wrote to his millions of followers on X, formerly Twitter, in the early hours of the morning.

“And you can go and compete in your smelly dirty boxing championship thing, the smell of it, good luck. You’re fired.”
He has since reiterated that claim, telling The Schmo last month:”Mike [Perry] is fired, but we’re in negotiations. [Dave] ‘Redneck’ Mundell called him out. He’s been afraid of Mundell. We had to give him a little cherry-pick-made title, ‘The King of Violence’ or whatever you call it.
“But he was never a world champion. And he’s afraid of Dave ‘Redneck’ Mundell. He’s called him out now; let’s see what Perry responds.”
Mike Perry tears into Conor McGregor’s new BKFC role in new documentary footage
And in the new Down & Dirty documentary, which premieres tomorrow on Dirty Boxing’s official YouTube page, Perry made his feelings about the Irishman clear. He demanded a fight between the pair, and also tore into the fighters who are now cosying up to him in his new role.
“What’s making me mad is everybody sucking his balls,” Perry said after insisting that a fight between the pair would be ‘good for everybody’. “Like, he’s already fought for them. Hi, did y’all forget that I’m the reason y’all got pumped up right now?
“I fought five times for y’all and y’all ain’t showing me no love. The fighter in Utah who won, flicking me off in the ring. Okay, that’s the most viral thing you can do but b**** you lucky I didn’t get in that ring right now, I should have.
“But like, for what? Then Dave Mundell posted shaking Conor’s hand like, you sucking it bro. That’s why I knocked you out twice you bum, yeah, you heard me.”
