Former NFL Tight End Kyle Brady Now Asking $5 Million for Beachfront Home Near Jacksonville, Florida

Former NFL player Kyle Brady has cut the price on his Atlantic Beach, Florida, home, relisting it earlier this month for $5 million.

Brady has been trying to sell the Jacksonville-area home since June 2023, when it was listed for $6.3 million, and it’s been on and off the market since then, most recently coming off the market in August when it was listed with a different brokerage for about $5.5 million, listing records show.

Brady, 52, who spent 13 seasons in the NFL as a tight end for the New York Jets, Jacksonville Jaguars and New England Patriots, and is now a practicing lawyer, bought the beachfront home in 2003 for $2.425 million, according to public records. He didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.

Across its 4,734 square feet, the home has five bedrooms and five and a half bathrooms. It was built in 1995, but Brady had it entirely renovated just a few years ago.

“The home is pretty brand new,” said listing agent Marcellus Heath of ONE Sotheby’s International Realty. He shares the listing with his wife, Maia Martinez-Heath.

The house has three levels, all accessible by elevator. The bottom floor has garage entry as well as a lounge area with a kitchen and a spare room that could serve as a home office, and the primary living spaces occupy the top two floors, which also offer ocean views.

A boardwalk path leads from the back of the house directly onto the beach. Though it’s technically a public beach, the home is away from the usual crowds, ensuring a sense of privacy, Heath said.

“It’s so far down from where the public has access, so it’s very quiet,” he said.

It’s also located within a small gated community, which Heath said isn’t common in that area of Atlantic Beach.

Atlantic Beach is a beach community that’s about a 30-minute drive from downtown Jacksonville. It has a mix of year-round residents and second-home owners and tends to have a younger population than nearby Ponte Vedra Beach, Heath said.
