Prince Harry might not speak negatively about the Royal Family again as one expert believes he has “nothing” more to say.
Although the Duke of Sus𝑠e𝑥, 40, did not hold back with exposing private family moments in his 2023 bombshell memoir Spare, the prince opted not to add anything new into the paperback version released just one month ago.
Royal biographer Hugo Vickers told The Sun that this could be because Prince Harry, who quit life as a senior royal in 2020 and relocated to California, has nothing left to say.
He said: “Maybe he’s kind of got it off his chest…maybe he has nothing really much more to say because he hasn’t had much to do with his family since.
“I think it’s quite good that he isn’t saying things.”
The biographer added that Prince Harry’s decision not to add anything extra to his memoir may be a sign that the prince wants to get back into his family’s good books.
Mr Vickers told The Sun: “By saying nothing, he makes it much easier for Prince Harry to reconcile.
“I said it many times before, people can always reconcile if there is a willingness to compromise – that has to be on both sides.”
Although Prince Harry is still believed to be in contact with some members of his family, including King Charles who he visited in February, relationships between the duke and other royals remain fractured.
This includes his relationship with his older brother Prince William, who he made accusations against in his memoir.
It is believed the siblings have not spoken since the release of the book, and have even avoided each other when attending the same events.
This includes the King’s Coronation last year and earlier this year when both brothers went to a Spencer relative’s funeral. Despite being in the same room, they are alleged to not have spoken and to have kept a distance from one another.
Prince Harry previously said in an interview with ITV after the release of his book last year that he didn’t have “any intention to harm” or “hurt” his brother or father with the release of Spare.
