Joy Behar, host of ‘The View’, puts her Hamptons mansion on the market for $10.95 million.

Television personality Joy Behar, celebrated co-host of The View, has officially listed her stunning Sag Harbor mansion for $10.95 million. Known for her sharp humor and candid commentary, Behar is now parting ways with this historic yet modern estate that has served as her serene retreat for several years.

The Perfect View: Inside the Sag Harbor Estate

The property, situated in the heart of Sag Harbor Village, boasts an impressive 4,500 square feet of living space, offering four bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms. Built over 100 years ago, the home is a unique blend of timeless charm and contemporary elegance, meticulously designed to exude warmth and sophistication.

The listing describes the property as “luxuriously appointed” and highlights its “rare” corner lot location. Set on 0.63 acres, the estate also includes a “charming guest cottage” and resort-like outdoor amenities, including a heated gunite pool surrounded by lush landscaping.

Inside, the main residence welcomes with elevated modern amenities and plenty of cozy charm. The chef’s kitchen serves as the heart of the home, featuring top-of-the-line appliances, dual dishwashers, a massive pantry, and even a fireplace. Communal spaces include a formal dining room, a living room, a den, and a home office.

“I love the bones of this house,” Behar told Hedges in a 2021 interview. “This house is over 100 years old—I’m almost as old as this house! But it’s a beautiful house, it has bones, and it has history.”

The Guest Cottage: Extra Charm and Flexibility

Privacy Amidst the Bustling Hamptons

Despite its location on a popular street, the home is surrounded by mature trees, ensuring total privacy for its residents. “Certainly, no prying eyes could see through to the pool area,” the listing notes, emphasizing the seclusion provided by the lush landscaping and bluestone patio that frame the outdoor living spaces.

Joy Behar’s Hamptons Connection

“There is no better place,” she said in the Hedges interview. “To me, it resembles Provence more than any other place I’ve been, and I like it more than Provence.”

The home has since served as Behar’s main residence, a peaceful haven where she could unwind from the intense schedule of filming The View. Shortly before purchasing this property for $4.75 million, Behar sold her East Hampton home, a four-bedroom property, for $3.2 million.

A Coveted Opportunity

This isn’t Behar’s only real estate gem. In addition to her Hamptons property, she owns an apartment on Manhattan’s Upper West Side, which she purchased for $2.4 million in 2017. The Manhattan apartment allows Behar to seamlessly travel to and from The View studios while keeping her roots firmly planted in the Hamptons.
