Disney+ has formally revealed that the second season of Andor will debut on April 22, 2025. This season, which picks up the Rebel spy’s saga, promises to delve further into Cassian Andor’s dangerous path as he becomes a pivotal member of the Rebel Alliance. The season is divided into four three-episode arcs, each of which focuses on one of the four years that remain before Rogue One, and Tony Gilroy is back as showrunner.
The returning cast includes Diego Luna as Andor, Genevieve O’Reilly as Mon Mothma, and Stellan Skarsgård as Luthen Rael. New additions feature Ben Mendelsohn reprising his role as Director Krennic and Jimmy Smits as Bail Organa. The teaser, released during Disney+’s 2025 preview, showcased Andor piloting a stolen TIE Interceptor, hinting at high-stakes espionage.
