Stanley Rubin, a prolific film and TV writer/producer, and Kathleen Hughes, an actress best known for her role in the cult classic It Came from Outer Space and her portrayal of Lorraine Blake on MASH*, led a remarkable life together. Their marriage was filled with accomplishments—Rubin helped establish the Writers and Producers Guilds and earned one of the first-ever Emmy Awards, while Hughes enjoyed a successful acting career, which continues to endear her to fans. Together, they called this home in the Bird Streets area their sanctuary.
