Jimmy Butler has found some new digs.
The Miami Heat star has reportedly signed a lease to rent a waterfront mansion in Miami Beach for more than $70,000 a month, according to the Real Deal, which first reported the news. Mansion Global has confirmed the deal.
Though it’s unknown exactly how much the 35-year-old six-time NBA All-Star is paying each month, the home was asking $95,000 a month when it was removed from the market in late October, listing records show.
Located on Hibiscus Island—which is just north of Palm Island and northwest of Star Island in Biscayne Bay—the 6,000-square-foot home stands on a nearly half-acre lot. It has five bedrooms, five full bathrooms and two half-bathrooms, according to the listing.
The backyard, which has a pool, a hot tub and covered seating areas, overlooks the bay and the Miami skyline, listing photos show. There’s also a dock with a boat lift along the property’s 125 feet of water frontage.
Butler could set down permanent roots if he likes his new rental. The Mediterranean-style mansion has been on and off the market since 2021, and it now has a $30 million price tag. Julian Johnston of the Corcoran Group holds the listing and represented the owner of the home in the rental deal. Johnston declined to comment. Greg Mirmelli represented Butler.
The news of Butler’s new rental comes as trade rumors swirl. Butler’s in the third year of the four-year, $184 million contract extension—which includes a $52.4 million player option for next season—that he signed in 2021.
A media representative for the Miami Heat didn’t respond to a request for comment from Butler.
