Timothee won’t stay with Kylie much longer if it continues hurting his acting career, a new report claims.
Kylie Jenner and Timothee Chalamet’s relationship may be in trouble, as the actor is reportedly questioning whether it’s going to work in the long-run following the drama at the Golden Globes.
Footage of Selena Gomez speaking to Taylor Swift and Keleigh Sperry at the awards show had some fans convinced she was retelling a story about Kylie and Timothee. Lip readers claimed they could tell Selena explaining how she asked Timothee for a photo, only to be stopped by Kylie in what seems like a moment of jealousy.
Kylie And Timothee Caused Big Drama At The Golden Globes
Selena instantly got backlash from the incident, with some people accusing her of trying to play the victim or of attempting to get in between Kylie and Timothee, which she’s denied. Not only did Selena say she was talking about something else during the viral footage, but she apparently never interacted with Kylie and Timothee.
Still, Selena subsequently announced she’s taking a break from social media after releasing her statement as the public’s reaction was too overwhelming for the starlet.
But it’s not only Selena who’s reeling from the incident. Apparently, Timothee also feels embarrassed by the drama that was stirred, even if it wasn’t directly caused by him or Kylie. It’s reportedly making the Wonka star consider how his romance with Kylie could affect his acting career in the long-term.
Timothee Will Break-Up With Kylie If She Hurts His Career
“Timmy is dealing with a whole new set of decisions since Wonka went through the roof,” a source told The U.S. Sun. “One thing is for sure, he is determined to not let this new level of attention steer him off course.”
There have already been previous reports that Timothee is struggling with Kylie’s lifestyle. Not only because it’s extravagant (and expensive), but because of how much of Kylie’s personal life is thrust in the tabloids – and how she’s okay with being so public-facing. Conversely, Timothee has been relatively private about his personal life since breaking onto the scene a few years ago.
“He simply doesn’t let his personal life subtract from his career at all, as a rule,” the source continued. “Timmy is the most ambitious young actor of his generation and he’s managed to absolutely crush his most significant competition with pure box office and smart movie choices.”
“But there’s going to be a problem if dating Kylie distracts him in any way from his trajectory, and she has to be constantly aware of that,” they added.
As Timothee’s star power continues to rise, it may not bode well for his relationship with Kylie if he feels it’s getting in the way of his acting “It took him ten years, but he’s finally at the level of his idol Leonardo DiCaprio where he can get any movie made just by attaching himself to it,” they added.
“Suddenly the whole industry is wondering what this guy’s next project will be and if he can keep this streak up,” the source concluded.
Neither Timothee nor Kylie have responded to the speculation.
