Multiple titles were on the line at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event, but none were changed. However, the most interesting part came after the show ended.
The main event of the show was the WWE Undisputed title match between Kevin Owens and Cody Rhodes. While fans expected Owens to win finally, Rhodes retained his Winged Eagle belt.
After the show went off the air, fans recorded Owens attacking Rhodes and Triple H.
Kevin Owens hits Cody Rhodes with a Piledriver
After Rhodes won, Owens hit him with a Piledriver. The same banned move that took Randy Orton out with a kayfabe injury. Fans in the audience recorded this.
Following that, he was seen leaving with Rhodes’ title belt. However, Triple H came out to stop it, but Owens was not the kind to listen as he squared up to the Head of Creative.

Both men were seen pushing each other before the referees broke it up. Triple H then made his way to the ring to check on Rhodes.
The Piledriver Ownes hit on Rhodes took Orton out, and the same could be seen with Rhodes. The WWE Undisputed champion is set to appear on WWE RAW’s debut show on Netflix, which means he may not be on the upcoming episode of SmackDown.
Cody Rhodes was taken out on a stretcher after the show
Another fan posted an image of medical officials taking Rhodes on a stretcher. This came after Owens hit him with the Piledriver.
When Owens first used the move on Orton, the announcement team made it clear that it was banned because of how dangerous it was, and Orton’s absence since then has driven home this fact.

Fans may not see Rhodes for a while, which is why Owens walked away with his belt. The upcoming episode of RAW or SmackDown may shed some light on what transpired here, as fans at home did not see it.
