Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Russell Wilson went above and beyond this holiday season, gifting his 14 offensive lineman with extravagant Christmas presents.
Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Russell Wilson really delivered this holiday season. The team’s social media account on X revealed the generous presents Wilson bestowed upon his 14 offensive linemen before their Christmas game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Each lineman received a $10,000 Airbnb gift card usable worldwide, a yellow and black Louis Vuitton duffel bag, custom Steelers shoes from Wilson’s own Good Man Brand, and a bottle of TenToOne Rum from Ciara, Wilson’s wife.
Wilson’s history of lavish gifting isn’t new; after inking a four-year, $140 million deal with the Seattle Seahawks in 2019, becoming the NFL’s top earner then, he gave each of his 13 offensive linemen $12,000 in Amazon stock.
In an accompanying letter, Wilson expressed his gratitude: “You sacrifice your physical and mental well-being to protect, which in turn allows me to provide and care for my family.
“This does not go unnoticed and is never forgotten. Now it is my turn to return the favor. I would not be where I am today without you working to be great day in and day out.”
