Fans shocked by Kofi Kingston’s ‘diabolical’ act toward his mother on Christmas day

The most recent episode of WWE RAW saw a dark turn for Kofi Kingston as his mother walked away from her son. Despite being a special homecoming moment for Kingston, his mother didn’t feel like he deserved it.

Now, amid the Holiday season, Kofi Kingston fired back at the woman who gave birth to him, leaving fans shocked. While Kingston is a heel, this level of heel behavior has not been seen before in the current WWE product.

While there are plenty of heels in the WWE who have wronged their parents, Dominik Mysterio, for example, Kingston was not feuding with his mother to have done this.

Kofi Kingston gives his mother the worst Christmas gift ever

Kingston posted images of his Christmas celebration with his family on social media. While this was completely normal, one of the images with his mother had her scribbled out with a black marker. He captioned it:

“I hustle for my last name, not my first. Merry Christmas…to us.”

One fan wrote: “Bro a super heel. You crossed out your own mom!?” Fans were not expecting this from Kingston.

Another fan wrote: “This heel run is absolutely insane.” Some fans expected Kingston to blame it on Big E for his mother leaving the arena.

Another fan wrote: “First Big E, now your own momma? Even Dom wasn’t this cold.” Fans have compared this to Dominik Mysterio’s feud with his father, Rey.

Another fan wrote: “This is diabolical heel work.” Fans were not expecting this, especially during the Holiday season.

WWE legend praises Kofi Kingston’s segment with his mother

On the Busted Open Podcast, Tommy Dreamer praised the whole segment with The New Day and Kingston’s mother. He said:

“The fans booing them out of the building. The whole time I’m sitting there, and I’m like, ‘Are they heeling his mom for giving birth to Kofi?’ And this poor woman who’s gotta take it.”

“And then he’s putting his mom over, goes for the big hug, and when the mom hesitates, I was like, ‘Oh my god, they’re going there. And I loved it.”

According to Dreamer, The New Day may not have a feud with anyone now. WWE may try to continue getting heat on them as it is the easiest thing to do.
