Disney has approved Hocus Pocus 3, bringing back the incredibly endearing Sanderson Sisters for even another enchanted journey, following the enthralling success of Hocus Pocus 2. In their legendary performances as Winifred, Sarah, and Mary Sanderson, Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy will return. The movie, which is scheduled for a Halloween 2025 premiere on Disney+, is expected to satisfy both devoted fans and a new generation.

While Disney has yet to reveal specific plot details, early rumors suggest the third installment will explore the origins of the Sanderson Sisters’ magical powers, offering a glimpse into their lives before they became the infamous witches of Salem. The film will also continue the story of Becca (Whitney Peak), Izzy (Belissa Escobedo), and Cassie (Lilia Buckingham), who embraced their roles as modern-day witches in the second film.

Insiders hint at a storyline where the past and present collide, with the Sandersons possibly teaming up with—or battling against—the new generation of witches to face an ancient and even more dangerous magical force.
