Seth Rollins and CM Punk brought their storied feud to an end at WWE Raw’s debut on Netflix as the Best in the World took down The Architect.
CM Punk and Seth Rollins had not met one-on-one for over a decade but had been feuding on and off since the Chicago star’s return at Survivor Series 2023.
The two enemies finally settled their differences inside the squared circle on WWE Raw’s Netflix debut as Punk defeated Rollins in the main event.
Much has been made of Punk and Rollins’ real-life relationship away from the ring and WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray has offered an update.
Seth Rollins legitimately ‘can’t stand’ CM Punk
Ray has flirted with WWE over the past few months, making fleeting appearances on WWE NXT and even wrestling at the ECW Arena.
The Dudley Boyz member is well-connected within WWE and has provided an update on Punk and Rollins’ fraught relationship.
On Busted Open Radio, Ray said: “The word that I got from a very, very, very trusted friend and confidant within the WWE was, these two guys, although maintaining the utmost levels of professionalism, do not like each other to this day.
“Seth Rollins does not like CM Punk at all [and] Punk can’t stand what Rollins has turned into. There is very, very real animosity.”
Punk looked to move on from Rollins after his Netflix victory, calling out both Cody Rhodes and Gunther for a title shot.
CM Punk declares himself for Royal Rumble
After his victory against Rollins, Punk made it very clear about his intentions heading into Wrestlemania 41.
The star is reportedly set to face Roman Reigns at the Las Vegas event, but he’s announced a few more dates before then.
Speaking to Jackie Redmond in front of the Intuit Dome crowd, Punk said: “I’m back and better than ever. Nobody is touching me.

“BITW. Best in the World, that’s what it means. Straight Edge, it means I’m better than you. I’m coming for all the gold in 2025. Royal Rumble, Elimination Chamber, WrestleMania.”
Punk has never won the Royal Rumble or Elimination Chamber in his career and is yet to headline a Wrestlemania.
This could be a big year of first-time events for the Best in the World.
