CM Punk goes on to say that last year, in his first WWE television match after a decade, things didn’t go the way he wanted during his participation in the Royal Rumble Match , as he came out injured from that contest. One that he has always dreamed of winning.

Seth Rollins says he’s a man of his word, if he didn’t show up when things got tough, he wouldn’t be him, he’d be CM Punk. “I’d rather be the worst version of myself than be any version of you. I’ve lost a ton of matches, I’ve lost at WrestleMania, but last week was the worst loss of my career. I underestimated you and I couldn’t finish the job. Now there’s only one thing I can do: wipe out all of your WrestleMania dreams and flush them down the toilet. Because you’re not going to win the Royal Rumble… I’m going to win the Royal Rumble. I’m going to throw your ass over the top rope to get me to WrestleMania ,” Seth Rollins tells CM Punk.
CM Punk brushed off Seth Rollins ‘ taunts on a couple of occasions, as either way, he’s still the man who beat him. DREW MCINTYRE APPEARS. CM Punk reminds him of the last time he encountered the Scotsman and warns him that if he steps out to the ring, he’ll need more than fifteen staples in his head now. McIntyre brushes off Punk’s comments, as he was addressing Rollins. Drew says Rollins and Punk are alike, the only difference is Seth admits he’s a piece of trash. Drew McIntyre reminds Seth Rollins that he’s only worried about his schedule, as he’s forgotten about the war with Roman Reigns after what happened at WrestleMania XL.
Tempers are heating up between CM Punk and Seth Rollins, and they’re ready to fight. But Drew McIntyre doesn’t want to get involved in this game because Roman Reigns is playing everyone. So there has to be someone who gets their hands on that title (the WWE Championship) before Roman, and that will be Drew McIntyre.
