Margot Robbie’s character preparation on set after reprising Harley Quinn in ‘Birds of Prey’ reshoots.

She has just been spotted re-shooting an action-packed scene in Los Angeles for her upcoming film, Birds of Prey.

And now Australian star Margot Robbie has revealed exactly how she gets into character for her roles.

On Saturday, the 29-year-old told Sunday Life magazine that fragrance helps her transform at work, because ‘certain smells can transport you to a time and place, or create a specific feeling.’

‘I pick a fragrance for every character I play – certain smells can transport you to a time and place, or create a specific feeling,’ Margot told the publication.

‘When I go on set and apply the fragrance, I find it’s easier to get into character,’ confessed Margot.

‘It’s a very powerful tool!’ she added.

The stunner is currently completing re-shoots on the Suicide Squad spin-off, Birds of Prey.

In Birds of Prey, Margot reprises her role as crazed villain Harley Quinn.

On Thursday, she was pictured on set filming an action-packed scene for the film on roller skates, with a stunt double in tow.

Fans won’t have to wait too much longer for this scene to play out on the big screen.

Birds Of Prey is set to hit theatres on February 7, 2020, and already a trailer for the action film has hit big screens.
