Travis and Jason Kelce praised Kansas City Chiefs running back Isiah Pacheco on the latest episode of their ‘New Heights’ podcast. However, the compliments came with a gentle roasting as they read through tweets about Pacheco’s sprinting form.
Following the Chiefs’ 25-17 New Years Eve win over the Bengals, the Kelces hopped on X, formerly twitter, to read the top posts regarding Pacheco’s unusual stride.
‘Everybody noticed how mad Pacheco runs,’ Jason pointed out.
‘Angry runs, baby,’ Travis responded about his Chiefs teammate.
‘Cowboys cornerback Jourdan Lewis tweeted: ‘Pacheco runs like he bite people,” Jason read. ‘I feel like if Mike Tyson was a running back, he would run like Isiah Pacheco.’

The Kelces read through X (Twitter) as fans compared Pacheco to Mike Tyson and Super Mario
The tweets got a laugh out of Travis as they continued to read through.
‘Pacheco runs like a little kid testing out new shoes in a store,’ Jason continued. ‘I can see that. Trynna see what the grip feels like, you’re really stomping them in.’
After the parallels to realistic scenarios, Jason went on to read comparisons to cartoon characters. Users compared Pacheco’s running to the likes of Sonic and the Looney Toons’ Tasmanian Devil.
‘Pacheco runs like a cartoon character,’ Jason said. ‘He’s got a little Tasmanian devil on his step.’
‘He’s got Taz for sure,’ Travis responded.
Another user compared Pacheco to Super Mario, to which the Kelces disagreed.
‘Pacheco is more sonic than he is Super Mario’ Travis insisted. ‘He kind of gets going and then takes off.’
The running form, which looks like Pacheco doing high knees at an elevated speed, has been paying off in the NFL.
