WATCH: Future Ferrari teammates Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc’s pet dogs Roscoe and Leo meet for the first time

Charles Leclerc’s pet dog Leo, and Lewis Hamilton’s pet dog Roscoe recently met with each other before the 2024 F1 Hungarian GP. Both drivers were seen playing around with their dogs together in a park.

The Monegasque recently added Leo as a new member of his family. In April, he posted pictures of the adorable puppy on his Instagram account. Leo was also spotted in several Grand Prix paddocks with either Leclerc or his partner, Alexandra Saint Mleux. Soon after fans saw Leo, they wanted him to meet Roscoe, Lewis Hamilton’s old pet, which he adopted back in 2013.

F1 fans’ wishes were finally answered as Charles Leclerc posted pictures and video of Leo meeting Roscoe. Lewis Hamilton was also present with them and chatted with Leclerc while their dogs played around. While little Leo was quick on his feet, Roscoe was more laid back. However, both were in a mood to play with each other.

The clip was originally posted by Charles Leclerc on his TikTok and later went viral on several F1 fan pages on X.

The Ferrari driver posted an adorable picture of him and Lewis Hamilton, holding their dogs. He captioned the picture:

“Dog dads”

Hamilton will soon be driving alongside Leclerc from 2025. Before the 2024 F1 season began, Ferrari announced the seven-time world champion as their future driver who will join Leclerc. Hamilton would be replacing Carlos Sainz, who has yet to find a seat in a new team for 2025.

Lewis Hamilton talks about Roscoe’s hilarious mischiefs in F1 paddocks

On most race weekends, Lewis Hamilton is seen with his pet English bulldog, Roscoe. Hamilton’s pet has his own paddock pass, allowing him to freely roam around Mercedes’ hospitality area and even their garage.

Speaking on the First We Feast Hot Ones show earlier, the seven-time world champion was asked about Roscoe’s favorite activity during race weekends. The British driver hilariously remarked that his pet dog loves littering in front of other drivers’ trailers, mentioning that Roscoe would litter in front of the trailers of Fernando Alonso and George Russell.

“His favorite is pooing in front of other drivers’ motorhomes. A couple of times you let him out in the morning and he has gone and done a dump in front of George’s trailer or Fernando’s trailer,” Hamilton said [at 9:57].

Lewis Hamilton recently won his first race in 945 days at the 2024 F1 British GP. His last race win was in Saudi Arabia in 2021 when he was fighting Max Verstappen for the title.

After the British GP, the 39-year-old F1 driver is in eighth place in the drivers’ championship table with 110 points. The table is currently led by Red Bull’s Max Verstappen with 255 points.
