The rivalry between Damian Priest and Gunther got personal last week as each discussed sensitive topics about the path they took to get to this point in their careers. After “The Champion” had a resounding victory over Braun Strowman, “The King of the Ring” appeared to attack him, and the latter addressed this situation twelve days before competing for the World Heavyweight Title.

Gunther takes the microphone amid boos from the crowd. “I know. Let me explain. I took a little time to reflect on what I said to Damian Priest last week, and I stand by it ,” the Austrian says as the WWE Universe repudiates him. “I said everything I said because I truly mean it.
