The 25-year-old Big Short actress landed at JFK Airport wearing light blue cropped jeans ripped across the knee and mid calf, paired with a black turtleneck and canvas flats.

Adding a heavy woollen military-style navy Fay coat over the top, that fell down past her knees, the blonde beauty looked warm enough to brave the winter weather.

However, on walking out of the terminal with her two black suitcases in hand and backpack over her shoulders, the Australian actress appeared to really feel the cold.

Grabbing a chunky knit scarf, the former Neighbours star wrapped the warm clothing around her head and neck, holding tightly to keep it in place and stay warm.

Appearing to have packed her gloves away, the starlet pulled the long sleeves on her top over her hands.

But the cold couldn’t keep the blonde beauty from flashing her pearly whites, clearly happy to be in the Big Apple.

In between films, the Australian soap star has been taking some time off and doing charity work but is getting set to be back in the spotlight.

Margot’s latest flick The Big Short was nominated for an Oscar Award for Best Motion Picture on Thursday, meaning the actress will be frocked up and on the red carpet at the Academy Awards.
