Jennifer Lawrence and husband Cooke Maroney have a rare date night in New York City, during which the actress dons a red midi skirt

On a night out with her husband Cooke Maroney, Jennifer Lawrence flaunted her cool girl style by donning a graphic t-shirt and a bright red midi skirt.

The 33-year-old Oscar-winning actress and the 39-year-old art gallery director looked confident as they walked down the sidewalk in a pair of studded flats, making their way to Tom Colicchio’s restaurant, Craft, in Flatiron, New York City.

The Joy actress accessorized her look with a big purse that she slung over her shoulder and a pair of enormous black sunglasses.

Meanwhile, Maroney sported an open blue button-down, plain white t-shirt, green slacks and a pair of light brown sneakers.

The happy couple, who wed in 2019, a year after they were introduced by a mutual friend, were enjoying a rare evening away from their two-year-old son, Cy.

The screen star and Cooke became engaged in February 2019, before tying the knot in Rhode Island that October.

Jennifer formerly dated British actor Nicholas Hoult, 34, and filmmaker Darren Aronofsky, 55, both of whom she has collaborated with on films.

In November, the performer revealed that she totally revamped her approach to her family’s safety after becoming a mom.

While chatting with fellow celebrity mother Kylie Jenner for Interview Magazine, Lawrence admitted that she was initially overwhelmed with fears about her and her son Cy’s safety after she gave birth to him in February of 2022.

The Silver Linings Playbook star attributed her sudden desire to get security guards to ‘intrusive thoughts and anxiety.’

Kylie claimed that she as in the same boat, and she said she had never had security guards of her own until she became pregnant with her daughter Stormi, whom she shares with her ex Travis Scott.

In the ‘five-plus’ years since then, she has had a two-guard team ‘in rotation.’

‘[Stormi is] very familiar with them, which I feel comfortable with,’ the Kardashians star explained. ‘She actually has a lot of love for them. I just tell my security to not make it so serious, so they have a good relationship. I’m trying to figure it out too because I never had security growing up, so I don’t know what that’s like, but I try to make it as normal and friendly as possible.’
