Conor McGregor responds to fan question about Mike Perry getting fired from BKFC, ex-UFC middleweight reacts

Conor McGregor recently took a jab in response to a query regarding Mike Perry getting fired from BKFC. McGregor’s remark elicited a response from an ex-UFC middleweight, who seemed to want Perry back at BKFC.

McGregor harshly chastised Perry and Jake Paul following their 10-round cruiserweight boxing match this July. Paul stopped the former UFC fighter via sixth-round knockout to improve his professional record to 10-1.

Perry has been the face of bare-knuckle fighting in recent years, and McGregor now owns a stake in BKFC. The Irishman considers bare-knuckle fighting to be the ‘purest’ form of combat sports and hopes to see it develop.

McGregor consequently voiced his disappointment at Perry’s defeat against Paul. In response to the fight’s result, the former UFC champion claimed that ‘Platinum’ had been fired and vented his frustration at the BKFC star for his poor performance.

Perry contested McGregor’s claims at the post-fight press conference, claiming that since he also has a stake in BKFC, the UFC star doesn’t have the right to fire him.

In a now-deleted post on X, McGregor took a dig at Perry, writing:

“Michael you are not any owner of the BKFC. Not an iota. You have the tiniest minute dot of a share in Triller. The social media video app. Which is promising in fairness. But it’s a speckle you have. You hold nothing in bare knuckle. Not an iota. And trust me, you’re out bro. With no feelings… But you won’t be straight back in my ring that is out straight.”

Recently, McGregor responded as follows to a fan who questioned whether he had sacked Perry from BKFC:

”See him since?”

McGregor’s comment on Perry sparked a reaction from former UFC middleweight contender Derek Brunson, who wrote:

”Bring him back”
